Dear Friends in Christ,

I’m so happy to be able to share the greatest news with you since I ‘ve become Roman Catholic. I’m going to the Seminary. Yep, after nearly 10 years and a whole lot of praying it’s really going to happen. I know so many of you have been praying that I would be able to become a Roman Catholic Priest. Well, it looks like that journey is about to begin. I’ve been accepted at Holy Apostles Seminary in Cromwell, CT. The same seminary attended by Fr. Bill Casey and Fr. John Corapi. My biggest challenge of course is financing this venture. I do not have a sponsor yet, but have applied to 17 different dioceses asking if they would be interested in me as a Priest for their diocese. Any man may attend Holy Apostles for the first three years without a sponsor (as long as you pay your own way) but cannot come back for the last year without being picked up by a diocese. Fr. Doug Mosey, the Rector of the Seminary assures me that I will have no problem finding a sponsor by that fourth year. The greatest challenge then is raising the funds necessary for me to study at the seminary. I have to finance my education and continue to support my family at the same time. I’m becoming a beggar for the Lord. I am begging all of you to please consider becoming a benefactor for me to get through at least the first year. My great hope is that I will have a sponsor after the first year. So many of you have been so generous every time I come to preach and teach at your parishes or in the conferences that I have spoken in and I thank you for your past generosity. I now implore you to please consider helping me go to the seminary. Thank you in advance from the bottom of my heart.
